Working Across Differences (Workplace Diversity)

    Using Discovery Learning Methods™ participants learn what is relevant to them as they solve an incredibly difficult problem. With oxygen supplies waning and dangerous radiation levels on the station, participants struggle to work together in an effort to save both the station and their lives.

    Leaders learn five keys to working effectively in a multicultural workplace. They are:

    1. Open Dialog – Understanding the Difference of Others: Communication is the foundation to understanding how people from different cultures feel, think and act.
    2. No Favoritism: Favoritism is especially poison where diverse groups work together.
    3. Trust: Building and maintaining the trust of employees from different cultures is not always easy but absolutely necessary.
    4. Respect and Value Differences: Every culture has made positive contributions to our world culture.
    5. Workplace Diversity and Organizational Growth: Without a multicultural workforce, organizational growth is stunted in the global marketplace.
